Speaker 1: Hello everyone, how are you today? I am Krystal Horton. Ryan is also here today and I’m the account manager for Ryan’s company. Accelerate marketing where we help businesses become the go to business in their niche. So in other words, we help your business dominate local Seo and online reputation. So today Ryan and I are discussing the importance of Google my business photos and adding those to your google my business page.
Speaker 2: That’s really important because what Google wants is they want more data about every business they want to make that experience. Just thinking about you being a user, you know when you are trying to make your mind up as to whether or not you’re going to go to a business, you’re going to go to the Google my business page and you’re going to look at everything about them from their reviews to everything. And if, if you’re not seeing, you know and obviously you’re gonna want to see photos of the outside of the business, the inside of the business, maybe some of the employees. And we actually, I have seen from data that that has been conducted out there that when you update your photos on a regular basis, here’s the bottom line that you increase your, um, your exposure on the search engines by about 30 percent.
Speaker 2: This is a, this is a known fact and crystal, I know you’re going to show some of our, our data here, but, and Google as Google does a really good job by the way of actually I’m letting you know in c, you know, what, what kind of increases you can get from actually showing, you know, from actually I’m posting more reviews about your business. So, um, yeah, we, you know, highly recommend that if you’re not, you know, posting additional photos on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. I mean, I mean I would even do this on a daily basis. Why not? I mean, there was no reason not to. And really the key, just like with reviews is making it so that you have a mechanism for you and your team to quickly and easily add reviews. Just like we’ve talked about many times, how important it is for you to have a system and a process to quickly and easily get reviews.
Speaker 2: It’s just as equally important for you to have a process to quickly and easily upload photos like being able to upload photos from a text message. That’s huge. Instead of having to go to your laptop. The other thing is that you can do is you can actually be fun about it and you can be doing things that are outside the office and from your mobile phone. Send a photo or upload a photo on the at the spur of the moment and make it much more engaging, much more interactive and not just send photos that are from your computer. You can send them from directly from, you know the camera on your phone and have multiple people doing that from your team so that you have. Just like with reviews. When you have a team behind you that’s not just you being responsible for getting reviews or uploading photos. Then it’s much more likely that you’re going to have more reviews and more photos. And when you give Google what it wants, like I said many times, then you’ll get what you want, which is more exposure and more first page rankings on Google, bing, and Yahoo, et cetera. So yeah, go ahead and show what you’re showing there crystal.
Speaker 1: Yeah. So these are now, let me go back here. What we are referring to is the photos that you see from your google my business page, so an individual can see the outside, they can see the map. And then here if they click on see photos, there is additional photos and these are the ones that we’re referring to as far as adding to your google my business page. And like Ryan said, what this does is it connects with the individual that searching for your business or has found your business by, um, a phrase or a keyword in the search engines.
Speaker 2: Not only that, but you know, it’s, it’s, it’s being able to, because there’s, we’ve identified seven, 23 really top prominent search directories out there that, that are the top of the top, the cream of the crop. And so realistically, even if you have multiple people posting photos directly from their phone and you make it easy to wear like like we do at our company where you can actually put together some, some, some funny images from traffic and conversion. I was able to send those pictures directly from my phone via a text message to our system so that it could be syndicated out not only to Google my business but [inaudible] those 73, 72 other directories besides google my business. And that’s really, really important. Why? Because there’s a video there as well, which is really cool. It was playing in line. You can see it’s kind of.
Speaker 2: And that’s another, that’s a whole nother thing, but now that you can do is you can actually upload videos as well and they actually play in line with your photos here, which is really, really powerful. But again, guys don’t like. We want to make it so that you can make very, very effective use of your time and you don’t have time to sit there and post a photo 73 different times, three different directories. That’s why we have this system where when you actually text the photo from your phone, it goes out in the syndicated directly from your phone very quickly, very easily, either via text or facebook messenger directly to over 73 different directories are those 73 different directories and that’s leveraging your time and you can not only give yourself access to do that, but anybody else in your team as well, which is really cool,
Speaker 1: saves a lot of time as well.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and what you’re doing is you’re sending a social signal out from all 73 of those directories saying, we’re active, we’re here, we’re engaging, we’re contributing to each one of your networks. Each one of your directories. Do you think they’re going to give you favorable rankings when you’re active and your competitors or not, and you’re actively posting photos. Absolutely. This is why you will get a 30 percent increase or 30 percent boost in your visibility on all of these [inaudible] directories. When you simply do this one thing, which is just, which literally takes less than five seconds a day, less than five seconds,
Speaker 1: less than five seconds a day and if you don’t do it and then look at this, the Google my business insights shares how many photo views that you have coming in and what business is like you are doing. And so if those photos aren’t added than the other businesses or your competitor is going to receive those views.
Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. And you can see, I mean crystal, you can see the significant increase, you know, in, you can see if you zoom in there, if you can blow that up a little bit more, like just do a command plus. Yeah. Because I really want people to see that what we’re looking at here is photo views. You can see how we’ve gotten those spikes and if you scroll down and see when we’ve, we’ve uploaded more photos. You can see our comparison to our businesses, um, like us in red. And then look at us, look at Austin and blue. Look at me, look at me, you know, 2,300, 2000, 300. But if you look down and you look at how many photos we posted, those are the photo views were getting. If you scroll down crystal, there’s the photo quantity so you can see how we’ve, how we gradually increased from March fifth, you know, the number of photos and they’re, those spikes are pretty much correlated almost directly to those photo.
Speaker 2: The number of photos that we, the photo quantity that we have there. So we now have, you know, we’re, we’re approaching 65 plus photos and we’re just adding. We’re adding these gradually. I don’t know why all of a sudden there was that down spicer on, so that’s an anomaly, but you can see and if you go back from one month, crystal, go go to three months, two to three months or quarter. There you go. So you can see how, I don’t know where those anomalies are, are spiking down, but you can see how we’ve. We’ve gradually, from January one gone from 40 photos. Now we’re at 65 photos and we’re just growing and growing. And growing and we are going to take the here’s us and business, so we have 69 businesses like us, only have about five and this is very, very important, especially for businesses like my wife might like my wife has, which is interior design because that’s what people look at.
Speaker 2: They go to houses and other business directories like that in order to find photos that of what they’ve done in their past work that they’ve done. So you know, we’ve think we’ve got their team using our system so that they can, you know, post these photos or. Yeah, I know you personally met with her with my wife stopped and now they know. And how easy it is to post these photos. It’s all 73 directories directly from text and from a facebook messenger. And it literally is, it’s low, it’s five seconds. It takes some literally five seconds, you know, from, you know, once they have the photo so they can, they can be spur of the moment because it’s all done mobilely. It’s all done mobily as well. It’s, you don’t have to wait or upload the photo to a laptop or a desktop or anything like that.
Speaker 2: It’s, you know, we’re, we’re in a mobile generation here. So, um, and you can see that, you know, what its corresponding to is, is, you know, photo of is significant. You know, they’re seeing the photos. They’ll come in through the photos and then they’ll, they’ll see the photos online and then they’ll click on the photo and see, well who’s this photo associated with? And then they. And then that’s how they discover your business.
