Now, maybe it's possible that some of you are still smartphone review skeptics after reading last week's series of tutorials. “Social proof marketing can't possibly be as easy as asking iPhone users for reviews,” you're thinking.
We'd like to introduce you to our friends, Stanton Optical — specifically, their Sacramento location.
This shows a Google search result for their business on October 30 (we've kept the entire photo so as to include the dated timestamp at the bottom). As you can see at the far right, they had 36 Google+ reviews with an overall star rating of 2.7.
On November 7, our CEO Ryan Steinolfson stopped by for a hands-on, in-house training. He walked the staff through the process of proactively getting reviews from happy customers on location, using our step-by-step tutorials for Google+ and Yelp. This is what their Google+ profile looks like today:
